How has your relationship with family changed since you came out to them about being HIV+?

Vivian

My relationship with family has actually become better since I have been open and honest about my HIV status and my sexual orientation! I am fortunate to have the support of my entire family -- including my niece, Aunt, my sisters my father.

At first they did not accept me as a Transgender person. Now my father has a framed photograph of my husband and me on his wall. When I first saw the picture in his home It brought tears to my eyes.

My family loves me even more. They have seen the deposit of positive work I have done and are so very proud!

And I was just wondering about that too!
