is 'serosorting' a reliable prevention method for HIV?

I truly believe that ‘serosorting’ is not a reliable prevention method, been there done that! I was careless and didn't feel I needed to be responsible for myself and the other individual. The comfort made it easy for me but as time went on infections kept occurring; he was on medications and I wasn’t. Thank God for pamphlets at the clinics , which made me decide to grow up and take care of myself first and he followed right along. Today my ex is married to his wife who is HIV negative and both practice safe sex. I am going on ten years with my current partner who is also HIV negative and I'm making sure we keep one another safe.
