Is it possible to be thankful to HIV for who you are today?

Jacqueline

I think I would use the word accepting over ‘thankful’. God has blessed me with a wonderful family, good health and a circle of close friends. But living with HIV for the last 21 years has presented its challenges. Knowing that my daughter struggles with being born HIV positive is quite a challenge. God has blessed me with 21 years of beautiful memories with her and I pray that he continues to give us many more. So I am thankful to my daughter, because through her I learned acceptance and I became the strong woman that I am today.
