thank you for sharing.

Hi Al!
I found your story quite interesting. Let me thank you first for sharing. It takes a lot of heart to come on a website....(world wide web) and share that you are HIV positive especially in a day like this where HIV/AIDS carry such a big and negative stigma. So thank you so much for that.

I once read a quote that said " Some days you tame the tiger and other days, the tiger has you for lunch" Everyday you'll have different experiences. Sometimes you will get discouraged but in life there is a balance: good bad, happy and sad. When you go through those good times Al, bask in them...enjoy them...and when you go through the bad days, just remember that its a cycle and happier days are around the corner.

Continue to be a shining light! You have not let your past stop you. You came to a fork in the road and you chose a positive path. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks so much for sharing this story. Your story, along with others, have encouraged me to spread the word to many others in my circle....to get tested and practice safe sex. Believe it or not, you have and will continue to impact ppl's lives positively.
I wish you nothing but love, success, blessings and very happy days. Thank goodness for Joe being there in your life as a support system after all the things you went through...

Keep that chin up & keep shining your light!!

Thank you for the kind words. I have never let my past slow me down and yes we all make wrong decisions. I feel it's important to try to fix the wrongs that I have done. I never want to hear that I gave HIV to someone, and that's why I share my story. Even though I may not be the person that infected someone, I feel that if I don't tell my story then I didn't put the information out there, and by not putting it out there, I have infected someone.

Hey Andrew,

I'm deeply moved and impressed by your movement towards advancing HIV prevention in the community.

I'd love to talk about possible fundraisers that I could do at my college. There's not nearly enough involvement. I'm part of a sorority that I'm sure would want nothing more than to help. Thanks so much! :)
